David McManus, Nick Heys Continue To Be Recognized as Leaders in Captive Insurance Industry

Captive Review, a niche publication and website dedicated to the interests of risk management and captive insurance publishes these lists annually. This is David’s fifth consecutive year on the list. This year, David is lauded for “overseeing growth across the globe alongside acquisitions” and the fact that he “has transformed Artex into a captive manager that competes on the world stage.” David is also responsible for bringing Peter Mullen back into Artex in Spring 2019, to take on the president and CEO role which will “boost its current growth plans.”
Nick Heys, CEO of Artex International, has been recognized for the third consecutive year in the Power 50, and manages the company’s operations in Bermuda, Cayman, Europe and Asia. He is recognized for his expansion into Asia Pacific and Australia, and when the Singapore office was opened in April 2018, he said to Captive Review that “the firm will take advantage of regulatory changes in the region and that it had been an aspiration of the business for some time.”
