Captive Review reported: Hiestand is a well-respected captive professional who has been known for many years in the industry, and this year makes her first appearance in the Power 50 after taking up a senior role at Artex. Hiestand started her career 25 years ago on the carrier side of the industry where she held various leadership roles across multiple disciplines including claims, operations and underwriting.
After 20 years with Zurich North America, she joined Artex's North America business last year where she is now responsible for the leadership, growth, staff and management of its captives, benefits and underwriting businesses operating in the US, Cayman, and Bermuda. Her responsibilities also include business operations such as product development, operational efficiency, market management and mergers and acquisitions.
