Aidan Kelly serves as Senior Vice President for Artex, where he plays a leading role in providing captive consulting and advisory services across North America. He acts as the primary contact for captive utilization reviews, feasibility studies, and risk advisory processes. Aidan specializes in single-parent and cell captive solutions across North America and Europe, with a strong focus on helping clients utilize their captives for expanded lines of business, understanding key financial drivers, and implementing programs that add long-term value, achieve financial objectives, and ensure the captive is continually optimized to remain fit for purpose.
With nearly four decades of experience in insurance, underwriting, captive management and operations, risk financing, and reinsurance consulting, Aidan brings a wealth of international knowledge and expertise to captive consulting across insurance, financial, governance, and regulatory matters.
He collaborates with organizations across all industries and insurance sectors and has held captive board-level appointments in leading domiciles such as Bermuda, Guernsey, the Isle of Man, Gibraltar, and throughout the United States.
Prior to joining Artex in 2026, Aidan worked as a captive specialist at global brokerage and risk advisory firms, as well as insurance and reinsurance companies. Most recently, he advised on global underwriting and captive strategies in the extended service contract industry.
Aidan holds the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation and is a Fellow of the International Center for Captive Insurance Education (ICCIE). He also serves as an ICCIE faculty member and instructor.
