Stewart is part of the Artex business development team in London having spent over 25 years as a captive practitioner in Guernsey. Stewart is a captive and risk management expert (including Mutuals) and represented many of his clients either as director on the Board or as operational executive on others. Captive clients covered a wide range of industry sectors including financial services, transportation, aerospace and energy.
Stewart pioneered his knowledge and experience to extend the use of captives to transact pension longevity transactions, collateralised reinsurance and insurance linked security transactions.
Stewart provides feasibility studies, captive and mutual health checks and risk management reports to new and existing clients seeking to establish alternative risk bearing vehicles.
